ONE LOVE JAMAICAN TAKE OUT (UBER EATS) opens it’s doors in Norristown Pennsylvania in March 2018! —Good and Healthy Jamaican Food (MENU ON THIS PAGE) — UBER EATS!
In March 2018 a new Jamaican take out restaurant (IG onelovejamaicantakeout) was opened at 613 W Marshall Street, Norristown Pennsylvania called “One Love Jamaican Take Out.”
The location was home to a previous Jamaican Grocery Store and Restaurant called “A & A West Indian and American Food Market” operated by a Mr. Levi who was there for around 20 years I was told by US based Jamaican Reggae Artiste “Jospeh Velvet” a patron of the new restaurant. Mr. Levi was also known to sell Jamaica groceries including water crackers, bun, seasonings, fast food items such as Jamaican Patties and produce such as yam and bananas . This is somewhat an important point in history as there are few Jamaican Restaurants in this area currently and it is an indicator that the sharing of Jamaican culture and heritage through food will continue in Norristown, Pennsylvania which is only a few minutes away from the King of Prussia Mall in King of Prussia.
I was very fortunate enough to be invited to the restaurants tasting gathering before they opened in about the first or second week of March 2018. Persons were invited to come and a get free meal to sample the Jamaica style cooking. I had the stew chicken and rice and peas which was great. The chicken was nice and tender and the rice and peas was steamy and nice. For the record persons who wish to eat Jamaican food at its healthiest will be able to benefit greatly from buying food at One Love Jamaican Take Out as the Head Chef is…
